WHAT IS NUMBER OF ROUNDS ON INSURED HOLE?
The number of times each player take a shot at
the hole during a covered event. E.g. 2 day tournament -
number of rounds - 2. E.g. 9 hole course (playing 18 holes of
golf in the tournament) - number of rounds - 2.

CAN I GET WRITTEN OR FAXED CONFIRMATION OF
INSURANCE AFTER I FAX YOU THE APPLICATION?
Because of the large volume of applications
received each day Joseph Kovacs Insurance will not guarantee
written confirmation unless the application is received in our
office 10 days prior to the event, but we will however,
confirm receipt of the application if you call 1 hour after
you fax it in.

IF THERE IS A HOLE IN ONE, WHEN DO WE GET
THE MONEY?
Once all the information we require is
received, the claim will take 15 working days to be settled.

DO I REQUIRE A MONITOR ON THE HOLE?
Yes, the Insurance Company requires a
non-biased statement from someone not playing in the
tournament. This can be someone who is over 16 years old and
not playing in the tournament.

MY TOURNAMENT HAS BEEN RAINED OUT OR
CANCELLED, WHAT HAPPENS NOW?
First you must contact Joseph Kovacs Insurance
by fax or e-mail and let them know that the tournament has
been rained out or canceled and what date it has been
rescheduled to. If the tournament has not yet been rescheduled
fax in a request to cancel on your letterhead canceling the
event and you will have to send in a new application when it
is rescheduled. If you have already sent payment your money
will be refunded.

I WROTE 50 PARTICIPANTS ON MY APPLICATION
BUT 78 SHOWED UP, ARE THE EXTRA PLAYERS STILL COVERED?
Yes, although we like to know the exact number
of players on each covered event for statistics, you are
covered up 144 players on every event. If there are over 144
players you would still be covered but you need to fax us
something letting us know as this does cost more money.

I AM ORGANIZING A LARGE TOURNAMENT CAN I
INSURE THE SAME HOLE TWICE?
No. The Insurance Company will only pay one
claim per covered hole on any event.

WHEN DOES THE PREMIUM HAVE TO BE PAID?
Premium must be paid prior to the start of the
event. You may have to send the money by mail, if this is the
case the envelope must be post marked prior to the event and
that will count as payment prior to the event.

WE HAVE JUNIORS PLAYING IN OUR TOURNAMENT,
WHAT HAPPENS IF THEY GET A HOLE IN ONE ON A INSURED HOLE?
All amateur participants are eligible for the
prize but any amateur who wins over $700.00 in one event will
automatically become pro status for 1 year.

SHOULD I MAIL IN MY ORIGINAL APPLICATION
AFTER I HAVE FAXED OR EMAILED IT?
NO! FAX OR EMAIL ONLY PLEASE!!!! If a
fax is received and the original is sent by mail the
application could be set up twice and you could be billed
twice.
